🔮 Note for Reload 2026:
The exact opening hours and procedures are subject to change. As soon as we have finalized the details, we’ll share them with you in a timely manner here on the website and on our social media channels.
From 2026, access to the infield, the forecourt and the campsite will be possible for children aged 10 and over – always accompanied by a parent or guardian.
🦖 Exceptions for kid-friendly acts:
For special program items, such as the Heavysaurus performance, we will relax the age restrictions for a specific time slot. We will announce the exact times in advance.
🎧 Mandatory hearing protection:
For visitors between the ages of 10 and 14: Access to the infield is permitted only with appropriate hearing protection (e.g., “Mickey Mouse” earplugs). Safety first—even when headbanging!
⏰ No access to the infield after midnight:
People under the age of 18 may remain only on the campground after midnight unless accompanied by a legal guardian. Of course, they may also enter the infield if accompanied by an authorized guardian.
✅ Further regulations:
-
The mother’s note rule for 10 to 16-year-olds remains in place.
-
Kinder zw. 10 und 13 Jahren haben
weiterhin freien Eintritt. -
Persons with parental authority must carry written proof of their authorization and present a copy of the parents’ ID upon request.
-
All visitors (including those over the age of 14) are strongly advised to wear hearing protection. These can be purchased at the merch stand.
With these adjustments, we want to ensure that our youngest visitors can also enjoy the special Reload atmosphere in an age-appropriate, responsible and safe manner.
🔮 Note for 2026:
If there are any changes, we will let you know in a timely manner here on the website and on our social media channels.
ARRIVAL
In 2026, there will again be the option of early arrival on Wednesday.
Opening hours for arrival at the campsite:
- Wednesday: 08:00-22:00
- Thursday to Saturday: 09:00-22:00
Early arrival is possible on Wednesday from 08:00-22:00 and costs €30 per vehicle. The fee is paid in cash on site.
New from this year: Early arrivals will no longer be charged per person, but per vehicle. This makes check-in faster for you, makes logistics easier for us and provides a better overview of the number of cars arriving. For all those arriving with more than two people in the car, the early arrival will be cheaper in many cases – and those arriving without a car will pay nothing for the early arrival.
We recommend entering Linderner Straße in 27232 Sulingen as the destination address for navigation systems.
In the immediate vicinity of the town of Sulingen, you can follow the local signs to the festival site. From there, we will guide you to the campsite via the appropriate routes.
Extra parking spaces are available for day visitors. From there it is only a 10-minute walk to the site. Please follow the signs on site to these parking spaces and do not try to park your car on the campsite if you are a day visitor.
If you are staying overnight outside despite having a combined ticket, or your car again during the festival move during the festival, you can use the special commuter parking lot use. Attention: No overnight stay in the commuter parking lot.
It is not possible to reserve spots for friends arriving later. In such cases, there is an alternative area at the entrance of the campsite where you can wait for latecomers. Don’t worry, we have plenty of space for everyone. 😉
From Hamburg/Bremen
For visitors coming from Hamburg, take the A1 freeway to the Bremen/Brinkum exit, then switch to the B6 toward Bassum/Syke. Please note: After two kilometers, the main road splits into the B6 toward Syke and the B51 toward Bassum. Please follow the B51 in the direction of Bassum.
Follow this road until you reach Bassum. There, switch to the B61 toward Sulingen and follow it until you reach the town sign. From there, the route to the festival will be signposted.
From the direction of Hanover
Visitors coming from Hanover should follow the B6 via Garbsen and Neustadt am Rübenberge to Nienburg/Weser. From there, please continue on the B6 toward Sulingen until it becomes the B214. Follow this road until you reach the Sulingen town sign. From there, the route to the festival will be signposted.
From the direction of Osnabrück/Ruhr area
Visitors from the Ruhr region should take the A1 via Münster. Continue on the A1 toward Bremen until the “Diepholz” exit. There, switch to the B214 toward Steinfeld/Diepholz. Once in Diepholz, the B214 takes a small detour around the town. Make sure to stay on the B214 toward Wetschen/Rehden/Sulingen. After another 25 kilometers, you will reach the Sulingen town sign. From there, the route to the festival will be signposted.
You can reach Sulingen by public transportation via the train stations in Bassum, Nienburg, and Diepholz. The best way to plan your trip is via the Deutsche Bahn website. From there, take the bus to Sulingen. We recommend getting off at the “ZOB” stop in Sulingen. From there, walk along Parkstraße and Lindener Straße to the festival grounds.
In addition, a special train runs between Diepholz and Sulingen on select days.
Special Train Diepholz – Sulingen – Diepholz
Wednesday, Aug. 12
- Departure from Diepholz: 10:31 a.m. – Arrival in Sulingen: 11:15 a.m., Train No. 93585

On Wednesday, shuttle buses will run to the venue for the special train.
Head to the Reload Festival stress-free with Fahrgemeinschaft.de:
Here, you can easily find rides to Sulingen or offer your own available seats. This not only makes it easier to get to the festival, but also allows you to travel together and conserve resources.
PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
As every year, we offer discounts to people with significant disabilities. On presentation of a disabled person’s ID card with feature B, which certifies a degree of disability of at least 50%, one accompanying person receives free admission. The person with a disability pays the full admission price. Subsequent reimbursement of admission prices is not possible. Upon presentation of your ticket and ID at the ticket counter, our staff will grant free admission for the accompanying person.
Barrier Breakers Camp: more comfortable camping for people with disabilities
To make our festival as comfortable as possible for all visitors with disabilities, we offer the Barrier Breakers Camp on campsite 2. This specially designated area provides the easiest and shortest route to the infield – mostly via paved paths that are also suitable for wheelchairs and walking aids.
To take advantage of this offer, please complete the registration form form. Please note that places are limited! In addition to the person accompanying you, you can bring up to three other friends with a valid festival pass. In total, your group may consist of a maximum of five people. One vehicle per group is also permitted.
Accessibility on the festival site
Disabled toilets are available on the festival site and the forecourt. On the forecourt, these are only accessible around the clock for authorized persons.
The festival area in front of the stage is a grassy area, which means that wheelchair users may be restricted if it continues to rain. In order to allow an unobstructed view of the stage, we will set up a raised platform for wheelchair users next to the FOH (Front of House).
Toilets at Barrier Breakers Camp
The Barrier Breakers Camp is logistically well accessible – both for arrival and during the festival. Please note, however, that there is no separate “Shit City” with water-flushed toilets or showers. Instead, barrier-free porta-potties are available on site.
Flush toilets and showers are located a maximum of five to seven minutes’ walk away. We are aware that this is not ideal, but for logistical reasons we are currently unable to offer an alternative area. Our aim is to constantly improve the conditions – and we are already working on it! 😊
Power & cooling for medical aids
If you need to recharge medical or electronic equipment or store medication in a cool place, please contact the ASB paramedics on site. They will be happy to help you!
Power supply in the camp
If you need electricity directly at your camp, you can rent power stations and other devices from our partner LOADIES or reserve them in advance.
The power stations have 2× 230 V sockets and provide reliable power for lighting, fridges, technology and more – completely without generators, noise or exhaust fumes.
You can book your Powerstation conveniently in advance online or directly in the store. During the festival, you can exchange empty stations for fully charged ones at any time and at no extra cost – as often as you like. Simply power at a flat rate for the entire festival weekend.
Registration required for the Barrier Breakers Camp
The Barrier Breakers Camp is a voluntary service for our guests with disabilities. Of course, you can also stay overnight in the regular camping areas.
To ensure that there is enough space for all eligible visitors, registration for the Barrier Breakers Camp is mandatory.
Please note:
-
Use of the camp is only possible with prior registration.
-
The registration deadline is August 8th. Unfortunately, late registration is not possible.
So register in good time so that we can make your festival experience as pleasant as possible! 😊
We look forward to seeing you!
GROUNDS & CAMPSITE
Note: We are not yet able to provide exact walking times from A to B. Our festival remains very informal – on average it rarely takes longer than 30 minutes to walk to the infield.
Once again this year there are two free funiculars that will take you into town (outdoor pool & EDEKA) and closer to the infield. There are no timetable – if you see a Bimmelbahn, just hop on spontaneously.
🗺️ Preliminary map:
The following map is still based on the 2025 festival, but it will give you a good idea of what the grounds look like and how to get around.
You can take your own non-alcoholic drinks into the infield in tetrapaks up to one liter.
Due to the positive experiences from previous years, we are asking you to use fanny packs again this year. To accommodate those of you who need a little more space, we also allow simple bags and pouches up to A4 size (21 x 29.7 cm)
You can camp right next to your car again – no towing, hurray! You can drive your car or camper van to the campground and sleep in it. Camping is included in the price of the combined ticket and is only possible with a combined ticket.
-
Marked area: Camping is only permitted in the marked, fenced area. Wild camping is prohibited for safety reasons.
-
Barrier Breakers Camp: For visitors with disabilities, there is a specially designated area on campsite 2, which is easily accessible and mostly paved. A maximum of one additional vehicle and up to two accompanying persons are permitted with valid tickets. This special regulation only applies in conjunction with an official disabled pass. You can find more information here.
-
Silent Camping: There is a special offer for noise-sensitive festival visitors on campsites 5 and 6. Rules:
-
No excessively loud music
-
No large PA systems
-
Power generators only between 10:00 and 22:00
-
Nighttime quiet hours: 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

-
Camping Groups & Latecomers:
We try to park groups with a mix of vehicles together, but we cannot guarantee this. Spots for friends arriving later cannot be reserved. An alternate parking area is available for latecomers.
Cars during the festival:
If you need to move your car, please notify the parking attendants and park in the designated area. Commuter parking is available for visitors without a combo ticket. Attention: No overnight stay in the commuter parking lot.
Early arrival:
An early arrival is possible from Wednesday from 08:00 to 22:00! The early arrival costs 30 € per vehicle and is paid on site cash paid on site.
Camping Rules:
The following are permitted:
-
Tents and tent material
-
Camping chairs
-
1 pavilion per 5 people at the camp (3 x 3 m)
- Please make sure to set up your camp in a way that is considerate of others

Generators up to 2 kW are permitted; they must be in perfect working order and may carry a maximum of 5 l of fuel in auxiliary tanks. Operation permitted until midnight; only EU-approved generators are allowed.
Safety:
Your luggage will be checked at the entrance. Please keep emergency exits clear and be sure to remove tent and pavilion stakes when you leave.
Departure:
Access is possible until 2 PM on Sunday. Once you drive from the campground, you unfortunately cannot return – that’s what the commuter parking lots are for.
Children and young people at the campsite
The rules of the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) apply to our festival. So that you can plan well, here are the most important points briefly and clearly:
- Under 10 years: Unfortunately no access to the event area. 🚫
- 10 to 16 years: Access only when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Authorized guardian means: a person over the age of 18 who has been authorized in writing by the parents/legal guardians (e.g. “Muttizettel” principle).
- 10 to 13 years: still free admission.
- Under 18 years: From midnight onwards, you are only allowed to stay in the camping area.
If you are there as a parent or guardian:
Please bring a written authorization and, if requested, a copy of the identity card of the person with custody. 🪪
We reserve the right to refuse admission if it is apparent that the duty of supervision is not being adequately fulfilled.
🎧 Hearing protection compulsory:
We are a festival with (often) a lot of noise. That’s why children aged 10 to 14 must wear suitable hearing protection (e.g. ear muffs) on the grounds. And in general: We recommend everyone to wear hearing protection – if you don’t have any with you, you can get some at the merch stand. 🤘
We have expanded our Pfandtastic concept: from this year, in addition to the usual garbage cans, there will also be 9 large collection containers for returnable bottles on the campsites.
There you can get rid of your returnable bottles and do good at the same time: The money from this campaign supports different local organizations or associations every year.
POWER DIRECTLY AT YOUR TENT – Powerstation rental at the Reload Festival

You can book your Powerstation conveniently in advance online or directly in the store. During the festival, you can exchange empty stations for fully charged ones at any time and at no extra cost – as often as you like. Simply power at a flat rate for the entire festival weekend.

Safe Now with SafeNow
So that we can all feel safe and comfortable at the Reload Festival, we rely on SafeNow: a digital security system that makes fast, unobtrusive help possible. In the Reload Festival SafeNow Zone, you can alert the local security or awareness team with just one click if necessary – including precise location transmission, so that help arrives at your location in a targeted manner and without detours.
SafeNow supplements the on-site presence in areas where the site is large and confusing or where areas (e.g. toilets) cannot be monitored for privacy reasons. Every use strengthens teamwork: guests and employees become the “eyes and ears” of the teams – and help to defuse or even prevent situations at an early stage. SafeNow is free for you and is available on iOS and Android.
Briefly explained: How it works
- Open the SafeNow app (visible in the Reload SafeNow zone)
- Press button → silent alarm to the team on site
- Help finds you quickly thanks to meter-precise positioning – even inside buildings
